  • So sad

Our dear friend and neigbour passed away some months ago, her daughter put a minature wheelbarrow etc around the plaque at the crematorium, because Lynn was an avid gardener. She also planted a ring of roses, these have been stolen.
Who could sleep at night knowing you have someone elses roses in your garden, and that they were from a grave.
    So sad.

That's why I've given my sprog instructions to throw my ashes into the air from the summit of Helvellyn when there is a hooly of a south westerly blowing, might make it down the skrees and reach Red Tarn.

No trudging down to the bone yard here. Cheers, Tony.

It is horrible when someone does such a mean thing- and you wonder what kind of person could do that.

I do believe in karma though! With bells on.

I quite like the Spanish approach where you loan an enclosure for 5 or 10 years, then everyone gets removed to the communal pit. Seems harsh, but I wouldn't want anyone tending my grave when I'm gone.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

It does seem cruel that people would do something like that. Some people get a kick out of doing things that are just wrong tho. If I was a nicer person I'd feel sorry that they are that warped - but I'm not that nice.

It is a detestable, thoughtless thing to do. I hope the roses grow very long thorns.

                It's awful isn't it?
When we got married 5 years ago we put my bouquet on hubby's mum and dad's grave and his buttonhole on his brother's, we went up a couple of weeks later only to find they had been ery upsetting as hubby's parents died young(57 and 56) and his brother died when he was only 43
It's just dispicable that people could even consider it. Sounds horrible but whoever used my bouquet for their wedding - I hope it doesn't last ......

Any CCTV around? - someone was filmed a couple of months ago doing much the same thing and found guilty.

Despicable. Makes my blood boil reading/hearing things like this. It's hard to believe, yet i do believe, that people could behave so immorally. The dregs of society is what they are.
