This title of this thread makes me think of that scene in the Vicar of Dibley - when Hugo finds a stray thread in his jumper at the beginning of the Parish Council meeting and only has half a jumper by the end!

I posted some musings, Zaz didn't get me - it went on a bit. Had it been in a pub with me and thee and Zaz and a pint we'd have laughed - but, sadly, online isn't like that and so often one's postings can be misconstrued where they didn't need to be.aka

What is 'the other side'?
Zaz means that moderators and admin staff are able to see the post, it wasn't deleted - just removed from the public eye, or unapproved in terms of the forum software (might be similar with the forum you moderate on). Post counts, stats, etc will all remain intact when a post is unapproved, but when it's deleted (either soft, or permanently) the stats are no longer applied to the user/post.

I closed it. In the interests of 'enough already'.
I did think I'd answered a few questions in my post above, but perhaps no-one bothered to read it...
And as I know I have said before many times, and it's in the 'Guidance' thread - if you have a question about a moderating decision, or you disagree with one, please raise the issue via PM rather than via the public forum.
