  • My arms and legs and especially my hands are looking a little worse for wear at the moment. My battle scars are there for all to see. Why are the best ones always just beyond your tippy toes...?
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

      • I know, there are some *huge* ones at the top of the place I've found near here - last week I ended up ripping a shirt, and having blackberry stains all over my trousers :/ I did manage to get a few though

Incidentally - the rowan berries here have been stripped by the birds already. If anyone wants to pick some, gather them soon

            • I can see one of my neighbours trees laden with them, it seems rude to ask. I'm picking a lot of crab apples at the moment, my now usual walk with the dog takes me across farm fields and there are one or two smashing trees along it. I need to take a sheet really.

                • I got a fab little mushroom knife from the ironmongers in cowbridge a few month back, cost £2.99 from memory. Its always in my pocket these days.

                    Wondering if there's a trick I'm missing.
long sleeves?!?! man up chris, it's only a couple of scratches!
if i have sleeves, they're normally rolled up - clothes get caught on thorns and make foraging difficult - i do get some scratches - sometimes end up ripped to shreds - normally happens when i forage the day before a business meeting - clients probably think i'm self harming or something ....

Or just design an app Chris...descriptions and pictures of all the things you can forage for and then add as you say an option button to let you geotag its location.. Hey pesto.... Can you forage basil
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                      ...utterly nutterly
