I might have been dreaming, but I'm sure I heard on the BBC news this morning that consideration was being made to appoint a "Minister for Older People". Be any good do you think?

Haven't heard anything FF, but I'm sure we have an Assembly Minister down here for the elderly. A good thing in theory considering a) the ageing population and b) the horror stories you hear about abuse of the elderly. If it comes from a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don't!!

Could I have coffee please, Steve?
You're absolutely right though. I remember an old widowed lady telling me that the thing she would like most would be for someone to make her a cup of tea, instead of always doing it for herself. I hadn't realised how true that was until I found myself in the same situation. I can't remember the last time someone made me a cuppa in my own home
