    • Looking at your facia panel I would guess that the pdf file instructions on their site are out of date.

That light isn't even shown on any of the wiring diagrams. You have 4 lights green for power on, red for lockout and the little thermometer yellow I presume usually denotes the overheat thermostat has operated.

Is it shown in your wiring instructions? If so you may be able to follow the wiring diagram back to the sensor/switch.

      • Aren't Warmflow utterly useless they can't even produce accurate Boiler Manuals.

No it doesn't show the Facia I have, only the 3 lights you've mentioned.

Funnily enough the lights just gone off for the first time , bet it will come back on when it feels like it though.....very, very odd!

        • Yep it would appear all their manuals are out of date.

Worse than that because of my research I am now inundated with baddy adverts for Warmflow boilers.

Its hard to be exact without either (a) the correct manual or (b) being on site. But If the pressure in the system is now fairly stable apart from the ups and down created by water expansion it can really only be either the sensor or a short somewhere. With the light coming on and off erratically I would put money on a faulty sensor.

Providing the boiler is working as it should cloak it and carryon as before.

          • Yes the pressure has been stable ever since I re did it.

I'm confident that it's not losing any pressure, there are no little drips or wet bits anywhere.....believe me i've checked !!

The pressure is 1.7 bar, light is off, it's a shame I turn it off at night, it might stay off if it didn't get cold, but I can't bear to hear it firing up in the middle of the night.....wasting my precious oil!!!
It's really made a difference to the amount of oil I use by turning it off overnight.
