My Worcester Combi oil boiler is at least 12 years old and I've never had to repressurise it or adjust it in anyway. Its serviced annually and thats it. (Better not speak too soon though!).
I want a Worcester

Peanut I have just tried your link still don't load for me but I am a putor flop.
The reason I mention Warmfront is that that is a government sponsered agency installing boilers for pensioners and the like. My inference being that Warmflow have adopted this name in order to be mistaken for Warmfront and thereby gain an advantage in the market.
I am pretty sure your MP would think the same to after all he/she will be a past master at taking advantage.
Did your kit arrive yet?

According to their Website they've been going for 35yrs. Google Warmflow...you should get something...or maybe i'm just haunted by them!!

Forgot to ask, as i'm only draining the boiler now how do I add the inhibitor to the rad...I assume I can just drain one rad and inject into that?

Doesn't load for me either Potty so I'm a puter flop too I've been trying off and on all day, and various other connected websites but all I could get was their brochure. Several complaints about the company too but you always get that - rarely does anyone bother to make a positive comment. Its a mystery!
Yes your right about the F1 lets get the main works done and water tight then I will go through the proceedure with you for injecting the inhibitor. Thats the last thing you will do so that you don't waste it if you have to drain down again.
One last piece of advice make sure you have everything you need before you start to strip out the old expansion vessel after all you don't have a van full of kit parked on the drive.
Well its that time of night again the shower & dram do call, catch you all tomorrow.

Because I only have a Draper adjustable spanner, which i'm not convinced won't slip, a lot, i'm going to hang on until I can either borrow a better one or I give in a buy one.
I saw some, I think, Bahco Spanners? That looked quite nice!
Can you reassure me that by using the boiler for hot water i'm not going to make things any worse, assuming it is only the expansion vessel that's knackered?
Would draining the expansion vessel now and then be of any benefit?

I have just given it a real pruning before it comes into leaf in the hope of getting some regeneration and the tree not having to work as hard getting water and nutrients higher up. If this doesn't work I'll replace it next year with something else.
