...a wool skirt, tights, boots, and a 3/4 sleeve top. And I've just put on my coat and turned the heater on because I am FREEZING! And no, the office is not air conditioned. It's just that cold.

I've not bothered putting my winter clothes away. Even the fleecy jods have stayed out this year. This morning I had the rare pleasure of a ride without my winter jacket on - got back just before the clouds opened (again). Lucky!

Someone at work remarked yesterday that I looked very "summery" despite the rain. I responded that I am dressing in defiance of the rain. Bladdy chilly though.

I've been spraying a bit of sun oil on me (instead of perfume ) to at least psychologically make me think there's a hint of summer...somewhere!

Having said that though, it sounds like we're getting far better weather here than in the UK.

I'm not only still in my winter woolies but also still making stews, pies and roasts. One really shouldn't need warming comfort food in July.

You're not the only one, I have shorts on at the moment, but as its not quite summer yet I have tempered it with a tank top, my sleeveless sports cardigan is in the wash...
