Did you know that the Olympics has a tax loophole and the sponsors will pay little if any tax in the UK.

Update - All companies targeted by 38 Degrees have agreed NOT to take advantage of the Tax exemptions and to be subject to normal UK tax rules. A Positive result

What makes me most disappointed is peoples insatiable desire to find fault in others efforts.
If you don't like sport, fine, don't watch it. iplayer, dvds, skyplus, gardening make it easy to escape (and why are you looking at a thread titled 'Olympics'?).
If you do like sport and want to see particular events, rather than knee-jerk complaints, look at the BBC website, where every moment of every sport will be broadcast.
And whether you are or are not interested, this is 2 weeks out of your whole life. Cheer up and enjoy it or ignore it. Your choice.Where there's muck, there's brassicas

conversely, if you like sports, why not go and talk about it on a forum dedicated to sports?
This is a forum. On a forum, you will get people who agree or disagree with your posts. Learn to put up with it, and stop complaining about that aspect of it.
