Awww Feral, you've brought back some memories for me! Trying to hand milk a cow in Queensland (hopeless!) and having a pail of warm milk straight from the cow left outside the door every morning when I was apple picking in Tassie - funny how my best fresh milk memories are from Darn Under.
Though there was the son of a Devon Dairy farmer who took me home to meet his parents! His mother made Clotted cream and they ate bucketloads of it. After a few days of cream with everything.....

I know what you mean, I've hunted for all sorts of things, there's a little bit here and there but nothing is collated, the taste of wales one VC mentions barely scratches the surface.

Anyone off to the Royal Welsh Show next week?, speaking about farming and supporting local producers.

I have family just up the road in the 'dod', so will be staying up there, would be happy to meet up with any other visitors though, you thinking of going VC?

I hope the weather is better next week than this, there's lots to do in doors, but if you're going to walk all the stores on the avenues its much better when its dry.

My highlights are watching the sheep shearing, the log cutting, and tree climbing, touring the animal enclosures, and the food court, mmmm..... I even had an offer the other day of a free cup of tea at the AA. aww isn't that nice.

I'm game for a meet up! Hadn't planned to go but I can, no problems. I think LadyLottie is going.
Shall we see if anyone else is interested?

I can't do mid-week really. I've had enough time off work recently, having to take some time off this week too to sort my chicken situation out, deadlines are slipping yada yada.

It's about an hour and half from me, I couldn't make it in the evenings either as I've so much going on at home.

Tell you what though, once I've finished my house I'm taking a week or so off work to do nowt - so I'll be up for the show in what? 2020?

                              You two are nasty!

I've figured it out now, it's because I'm English. Every Welshie in work picks on me because I'm English too!

                              racists!! / anglophobists!

Can't be bothered to read that rubbish! You just can't accept the truth - you're geographically challenged - its nothing to do with being a foreigner
