There's a new group on Facebook promoting small independent dairies Chris, that might help you find a different local supplier. Bit surprised at your 'cheaper from the supermarket' comment though - of course it is but hasn't it been established that that is a false price which causes farmers to make a massive loss and ultimately go out of business?! I pay more for my milk via the milkman because I'm paying for its true cost, which is fine by me...

Too funny - daughter is going snowboarding with school tomorrow. Using brothers 'old' snowboard.
Do you ride 'regular or goofy' 'goofy' 'but you're right handed (says the boy who's ambidextrous)' 'yes, but I ride goofy'. Mum: just do it.
He's on a learniing curve..........teenage girls, don't bother arguing with them!

Hope she doesn't come home all goofy from falling down 'the hill'.

True, but I felt (the milkman called around basically) he was taking the mickey with his pricing. By supermarket I mean a decent one that will give a fair price to the farmer. I wouldn't mind say a couple of quid delivery charge, each time, or a fiver a week but with the milk that my little ones get through (and the wife who seems to just eat cereal constantly - yes if you're reading this ellie STOP EATING ALL THE BLADDY CEREAL!), double the price of the milk was, simply out of my affordability.

Oh yeah, I'll check that group out too, thanks

Just spent this entire time researching more options. I've found two milkmen, one based in Cardiff that'll hopefully deliver, and one where I live too. Much miuch cheaper than we were quoted before (which was £1.40 for a pint of organic milk). These come in at 59p, or 70p for organic pints. Glass bottles too, which is nice.

Have registered with them - need to wait to be "authorised" before I can login and check delivery etc.
