There's this site too Find Me A Milkman - Find your local milkman - milk, dairy and fresh product delivery for home and business
Since I don't drink milk I can't give you any recommendations!

On that link VC I find that the only milk delivered in my area is from Dairy Crest - it is much more expensive and it also supplies the big supermarkets so I am back to square one in trying to find a local farmer! I know there are dairy herds round here but they must sell on to the processor and not supply local shops.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Sarz just informed me that DairyCrest are one of group of places that are actually on about cutting the price they pay - so, I've just cancelled.
I'll hold off until either the others get back to me, or I'm able to find something that I can afford and benefits the farmers.

It was usually Farm Gate, as it's what was local to me (all allotment sites around me, and the farm shop (well, if you can call it a farm shop) on mountain road at the bottom of the mountain sell it there.
Then they switched brands to something else, the pellets were really pale. So thought I'd try the place at Rudry, these are in a yellow sack, can't remember what make they are - I'm due to pop down this weekend to get another back so I'll let you know when I doThey're £7/bag there.
