They're more expensive than these chaps.. The Cardiff milkie I found was CD Dairies. Mind you, £0.80p is still less than this dude who was door to door knocking!

There's this site too Find Me A Milkman - Find your local milkman - milk, dairy and fresh product delivery for home and business
Since I don't drink milk I can't give you any recommendations!

I did find that one too, but its just a list of numbers - I prefer to list prices online! Thanks though.

On that link VC I find that the only milk delivered in my area is from Dairy Crest - it is much more expensive and it also supplies the big supermarkets so I am back to square one in trying to find a local farmer! I know there are dairy herds round here but they must sell on to the processor and not supply local shops.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Whilst I'm waiting for the two near me to get back to me - I've signed up to milk&more - I'll give it a month and see how it goes

Sarz just informed me that DairyCrest are one of group of places that are actually on about cutting the price they pay - so, I've just cancelled.

I'll hold off until either the others get back to me, or I'm able to find something that I can afford and benefits the farmers.

Don't forget to check which ones use electric carts not petrol. If you are going to the trouble of finding someone local, then you don;t want to go and spoil it all with fuel miles....
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Yep, that's the place. Got my latest layers pellets from there- seem to be much better quality than the farm shop on mountain rd.

Oh and I think the one I've seen has 50% of their fleet being leccy floats.

Though that said, I doubt they're charged up by renewable energy......

Which pellets do you buy Chris, I've been buying Heygates, as that's what steve at PM recommended.

It was usually Farm Gate, as it's what was local to me (all allotment sites around me, and the farm shop (well, if you can call it a farm shop) on mountain road at the bottom of the mountain sell it there.

Then they switched brands to something else, the pellets were really pale. So thought I'd try the place at Rudry, these are in a yellow sack, can't remember what make they are - I'm due to pop down this weekend to get another back so I'll let you know when I do They're £7/bag there.
