You'd need to take your welly off first before you could fit your heel into the gap, D'oh!!
Perfect if you have wide-set nostrils though
Apparently they're known as pickle forks. That's another new thing I've learnt today

So if one was welded at 90 degrees to the other, could you not use one to lever against the other?
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

How about getting a hole drilled in the heel, adding a wooden shaft, one short and one long for use as a hand held onion hoe and a long hoe/pea drill.

You've lost me there Mikey but here's another photo with my wellie - how nice
Have to admit, also, that I gave away the welding kit so I can't do any welding any more

              More mystery tools?

Two pumps perhaps. One old and one that looks unused. What would these be used for - and no rude answers please

The flower shaped gauge alongside them is marked "Standard Wire Gauge"
It was in a box labelled "Taps & Dies". What are they for?
Apologies for all these stupid questions but it is about time I got rid of some stuff

EDIT - have found the modern pump - its a Hand oil sump pump for oil changes - sounds like another thing I'll never use!!BRASS MANUAL HAND OIL SUMP PUMP - ENGINE OIL CHANGES | eBay

looks like the old spay pumps,i was given 1 last week, they apparently made of brass, next to usless i recons,in your case they might even be oil pumps for the old car,
just spoted the cirluar ones, the look like measuring gages for round objects, wire, steal rod, very simiar to the ones used by hand knitters,

Old grease gun with interchangable nozzels, Gauge for measuring wire diameter, British Standard Wire Gauge is the measurement used. Can't see the second gauge very well its half hidden.

Last pic is a green wellie very useful in the weather we are having at the moment, but you would need a pair. could be Barbour Hunter or some cheap replica.

Thanks again to Lottie, Potty and our new contributor, Mikey. Apart from the cheap replica wellies, I don't have a use for any of the items - as well as drawers full of taps and dies, AF&M spanners (or is it sockets), reels of electrical wire etc etc. I've already given away all the car spares, welding equipment, pillar drills and bench grinders. Time for another clearout

is this a competition between potty and myself lol,
