I hate shaving...

I mean, REALLY hate it. So, in a last ditch attempt to try and "enjoy", rather than rush it, leaving a 5o'clock shadow, or ripping a layer of skin off my face each time I shave I've gone and ordered myself a nice, decent double edged razor + blade set, brush, and soap dish set.

Have spent today working, but in between that, looking at tutorial videos on how to shave properly.

My, what a rock and roll life I lead!

I shall update when I've had my first go and probably torn half my face off.

For what it's worth, try something that my wife put me onto (she got it from the TV). Before you shave, apply a this smear of baby oil (yes, baby oil) to your beard. Leave for a few minutes. Then apply a reasonably generous amount of baby lotion. Then shave, but DO NOT go against the grain. You get a pretty good shave, no barbers rash and yer face feels good. Seriously, give it a try. Supermarkets own brand baby oil and lotion is perfectly fine.
