Its another Happy Unbirthday day, Grapes, so what shall we celebrate? There must be some event - otherwise its a day without Caaaaaaake
I don't think my 7/12ths Birthday qualifies for even an iced gem - but I've made plenty so pass them around

Shall we have a wake instead? I've just found my diary and realised I've only 2 1/2 weeks left of my 4 months long service leave! I might need some sloe gin to go with those bickies before I can cope with this!

We can celebrate the fact that I am into only my fourth or fifth proper week of work this year! Due to the weather.

And commiserate too, because I have discovered, embarrassingly, that I would prefer to be a Lady of leisure!

I spend my days 'doing' other peoples' gardens. I spend my early mornings, evenings and weekends catching up on everything else. My garden??? weeds weeds weeds...
