Just found out that my Dad will be getting home from hospital in three weeks time. I'm over the moon and scared sheetless at the same time.

Got a solid three hours sleep before back pain woke me up. Did the exercises, took some tablets and went back to bed and slept for another three.
This is the first time in ten days I've had more than an hour at a time, or four in a night.
I could almost - but not quite - do a jig

              1. Watching a Vicar trying to pick a lock into an unused building with his Over 60s Bus Pass:
              2. Seeing a skein of geese flying overhead, honking
              3. Hearing that the train driver who thought he had hit someone was mistaken

My brother had his "FINAL" exam yesterday and is now a fully qualified Oesteopath... Only taken 6 years I think (part time + one year longer due to being put back once!) But still bloody brave at 36! Now 41 and an osteo! Here's to enjoying the next 20 years of work! I'n at once amazed , thrilled and so sooooo soooooooo proud!

and we are sposed to be the thickies! I knew we weren't!

Smashing up a homemade wooden composter my wife was sick of looking at and taking it to the recycling centre. Only to find 2 massive plastic buckets someone had dumped. MASSIVE!! She wasn't impressed when the boot came back not empty Waiting to see what Aldi/Lidl come up with in the next few weeks. Fancy a small fruit tree or two in the tunnel.

Got enough flexibility in my back to wash my own feet in the shower.
Well, hello toes. It's been a while.

Saw this headline on BBC website

                                "Cardiff sign Noone from Brighton"

Just wondered if they signed noone from elsewhere? Portsmouth, Swansea?
