taking part in...and surviving...my first Half Marathon today! Lots of sweat, some tears, thankfully no blood, but I have just spent a happy few minutes popping blisters and applying plasters!
Royal Parks half Marathon, fundraising for the Bone Cancer Research Trust, smashed my target of £500 too.....in the space of a few hours I saw: Marble Arch, 4 Royal Parks, Westminster Bridge, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the Embankment, Buckingham Palace twice, Victoria Memorial twice, Admiralty Arch, Nelson's Column...and possibly more. Should have taken my camera!
truly amazing day, so pleased I finished in one piece will never forget running along the Mall with the Palace and Victoria Memorial getting closer and closer......
The wonderful selfless people on here who put themselves through weeks of training and days of blisters in order to raise money for charity. You're all fantastic Thank you x
Cooking a roast dinner for the family using the leg of lamb (which has been taking up space in the freezer) and homegrown roasties, cabbage, carrots and beans ........

After Eco week with the kids, my photo appeared in a magazine with an article about ECO week showing the children how to plant daffodil bulbs.
Saw a guy with camera but didnt know he'd taken the photo.
I hate having my photo taken.
Maybe this should be a rant.
