Picking a big juicy fennel bulb - the best ever - and relocating a big juicy swallowtail butterfly caterpillar from it onto a bolted bulb first.

And listening to our elderly neighbour and his buddies singing drunkenly all afternoon. I think the village hunters may have caught something this morning!! They are singing proper old regional songs so its not as bad as you might think.

Watching the plonker in the car in front of me get flashed for speeding by a police van placed (visibly) on a corner, after he'd overtaken me on a blind hill at 20mph OVER the posted speed limit....

I knew the police were there (Mr OWG has warned me this morning), but I was doing the speed limit anyway....
