  • Knowing I have a couple of hours for just me and no-one else once my husband goes to work, Son at friends, daughter going for meal, just me and the dog and kitten and an old Bette Davis film on, sadly, only for two hours until I have to pick her up and ferry her friends home and pick up my son!
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!

        • My Mother - laughing because she'd been into an undertakers to enquire about paying in advance for her own funeral! They gave her a quote and told her that if she was under 80 she could pay by instalments.
When she told them she was 92 they said "No chance!" She's still laughing.........

              • Overheard a conversation today.
2 women in their 40's saying "when they were young there was no such thing as spring and autumn"
"Its only now because of global warming we have spring and autumn"

                Oh how I laughed.

                        • Cycling the same route as three weeks ago and this time not having to walk up any hills.

And our tabby kitten who has clearly been adopted by someone else came back for a few hours today. She doesn't eat our nasty dry food anymore and always comes home smelling of someone else's fresh laundry.
