Today is the last day of Movember, and the other half has requested it be removed forthwith, or there will be no more kisses. I wonder how long it would get by Christmas?

I started the day with a red sky and I'm finishing it with one too.Went up to the Tree house to take a photo but camera battery was dead so you'll just have to believe me when I say that the sky is the colour of a tangerine, fading into duck egg blue, then indigo. So beautiful
And the big bonus is that the builders have nearly finished - just a couple of tarting up bits to do and some outside lights to be wired and the house will be my own again. No more getting up early in case they walk in on me!!

I've just had a lovely week "off" ~ no stress, no arguments, no silent treatment. I listened to R4 when I wanted (rather than getting told it's too loud), went to bed when I wanted (sometimes at 6pm, to read), cooked when I wanted to, rather than every night ... only did one laundry instead of four ... came home to a tidy house rather than a bombsite ...

Just heard a corker whilst shopping in Tesco's!
They were dishing out leaflets about buying a small food item and donating it to the needy.
Every now and then, what sounded like a different member of staff came over the tannoy promoting the cause.
Someone must have doctored one poor buggers speech as he read from a script:-
"Can I just let shoppers know that we have people at the entrance collecting food for the fat people on the dole!!!!!!!
Either that or this was his resignation speech!

mine had the catterpillar,and the cat aroud his face a few years ago,it was horrible,like trying to kiss a flipin bed of needles,ugg,
my delight today was getting me seeds,and lovingly ogling the packets,getting in gear for next year,sad i know,but am not on my own,am i peeps,sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment
