Not finding slug trails in the kitchen this morning

60th birthday cake all but finished. Just needs liquorice 'hairdryer cable' and the fondant plug. It isn't my best effort, but it's finished.

Now I can concentrate on things I want to make for Christmas!

Finishing a picture Acrylics: buying a decent brand and good brushes made all the difference. I need to finish the peppers, then make a start on a portrait, then do a landscape.

Seeing my mother-in-laws face when we arrived unannounced at the hospital to visit. She is expected to be there until March and thought we would not be over until the New Year. We all cried!
