Having absolutely nothing at all to do!!!!! That is something that doesn't happen a lot to me at all! Everyone is wrapped up in their own day and nobody needs me for anything at all! Ah

Happiness is ... going out to meet your mates in a pub and
a) getting a seat, so I'm not continually shoved by people pushing past me (I'm little)
b) getting a TABLE with a seat, so we can all talk together
c) pubs being non-smoking now, so I come home NOT stinking like an ashtray and having to dryclean my coat
d) being able to talk not shout to be heard, because the music ISN'T blaring out
e) not being the eldest in there by a long chalk
f) leaving BEFORE closing time, NOT having to wait for a cab (I drove)
g) waking up next day WITHOUT a Harry Hangover


It was so pleasant, I might even go out again next year

Just reducing the ham stock. Ham is cooked and awaiting Ma's glaze of choice, although it's fallen apart, so we've got about 5 small hams instead of one huge one. Smells good!

I used pomegranate molasses in the end - it was the only sort I could find and seeded moutarde - smells good!
Took a lovely walk whilst snapping some flooding pics. No need to rush as we had nothing to do, nowhere special to go, just us time. Rare and blissful!
