  • Emptied the blowaway down at the plot last week and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my dead aloe vera had come back to life. One of the dead looking leaves was now green again, this plant hadn't seen water since the height of the summer as I thought it was a gonner.

    I brought it home and gave it a drink and when I looked at it tonight it has two wee pups, amazing!!!

    • Much reduced menu in the lottie cafe this morning . Just hot drinks and toast so I took along some marmalade etc fror the toast.......what makes me happy is not just the fact that everone liked them it was the fact that someone thought my bees had made the parsony (parsley honey ) .....

          • Booked flights tonight for Ireland next month for our Grand Daughter's 1st Birthday. Thank goodness for my two boys who will care for my Dad while we are away for a few days

                            • Driving home from work saw 2 chickens walking along the hard shoulder of the M4.
                              Was going to stop and pick them up.
