A great tip for slug,s and snail,s

i would like to share my tip with you,s on how i keep slugs and snails away from my Veg in container's and the Veg in the soil in the garden i have had great success with this over the last 4 weeks with all the rain . Get some road salt mixed with grit and sprinkle that around the containers as for the garden Veg lay down some plastic or weed membrane around the plant and sprinkle some on it. Than just go out each morning and pick up the dead snails and slugs the salt last about a week that is if you have about 4 wet days of rain.
