Can't access that link but..........my mil used to trim the edges of her rose garden (all 4 sides of the block of land) with a sharp tomahawk............I never yelled at her son on the days she was trimming the edges.....

I'd be interested to know where he gets his scissors from. After mowing my lawn I trim the edges with a pair of scissors, but it always gives me a blister on my thumb.
Nice garden, I like unconventional gardens, ones which go off in different directions, my Aunt has a lovely garden, long and thin, with a secret woodland area at the end. I always visit when she opens it for NGS, I could visit it anytime but I like to support the NGS.I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.Comment
