Ok guys im back home i was seen by the orthopedic surgeon at the local A&E and what he told me was that i have blood sitting under the incision causing a hard and painfull lump in my calf
He said there was no real sign of infection around the area and my blood test came back all fine
he said that this is something my body would/should sort out by itself a little like getting rid of a hard and sore purple bruise (that were his words) however he has given me an appointment to see if there is any change by monday if there is not he will assess whether its worth keeping me in and draining it!
he also gave me stronger pain killers and told me to keep completely off of my foot for 2-3 weeks but keep wiggling my toes to keep cirulation
many thanks to all who have followed this thread and wished me well hope that is now my problem sorted
