I have loads of onions and shallots. I've dried them off really carefully this year as they didn't store well last year. And carrots. Finally. No carrot fly as I invested in hoops and enviromesh and have kept them permanently covered. The low flying theory is a myth.

Runner beans are taking off a bit, but not great, raspberries, blackberries and tayberries probably my best this year as they've given me a punnet every couple of days or so (from one of the three at a time). Chives were really stunning too. Wish french beans had been.

We had some wonderful sweetcorn last night.......from my first sowing. My second lot looks like I won't get a crop unless we have an injun summer. Here's hoping.

        Loving my allotment!

I'm all for an Indian summer - remember the beginning of last October? We were in Praa Sands, it was lovely!
