Thanks everyone, that was a lovely surprise on my New Posts page


I walked the dogs with my friends on the beach, and the sun shone on us. I gifted our cafe owner the flag from my shed, which just happened to be the flag of his home country, so we got free drinks

What I really wanted for my birthday (apart from thin thighs) was a clean car, and the ironing pile to disappear. I cleaned the car myself, inside & out, and gave the dog a talking-to about her moulting.

Himself was working himself into a lather because I appeared to not be enjoying myself enough, so I indicated the ironing pile, and he set to: I think he managed three shirts, which is a result because it's 3 less that I have to do

I've just cooked myself a student classic: baked bean lasagne, with Choc Eclairs to follow. Oh, and I found a bottle of 2010 Sloe Gin in the shed too.
