My wheelie bin is about 550cms but you can get narrower ones.

We don't have wheelie bins here... they give us 2 black boxes and a composter.

I have been considering a wheelie.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Awww, poor you! I have 3 wheelie bins
I do trundle mine over rough ground to the bottom of the garden - its not the easiest of things to move when its full and heavy. Has been known to topple over! On the positive side, you can lay it down and shovel into it, but I don't fill it up that way as its too heavy to pick up again!

Watch out...one day you'll open it and find squatters.....

At school, maths and sewing were in metric, cooking was imperial. I still cannot sew the American way, with all their fractions of an inch, but I have mastered metric ingredients and US measuring cups. Took me ages to get my head around grams, kilos and millilitres.

I'm dyed in the Wool, Imperial. Still have to convert most measurements back to something I can relate to If I'd said 55" I would have known that was way out.
Maybe, one day I'll catch up with you youngsters (or maybe not!)

I was the last girl in school to stop wearing a gymslip when they changed the uniform to pleated skirts too!.

I'm trying to go over to metric for measurements but I weigh in lbs and ounces only because I use a set of old Avery shop scales.
