I'm arachnophobic, I'm also an avid vegetable grower...the two do not mix well!

As far as work is concerned, I did a stint at a hospital as part of a research project...the sight, sound and/or smell of vomit make me puke (literally).

*99% of them in my work place.

Thankfully, there's plans in motion which means I won't be dealing with them for ever
Dude this made me laugh, I've an image of your sales people, a bit like mindless animals struggling to get out of the toilets!!

As a designer/salesman!!, I have a dislike of customers, some are lovely and turn horrible, some are awkward and become lovely, some are just hard work, and some are the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Unfortunately they don't wear name tags to let me know who they are when I first meet them....

I also have a dislike of the taste of balloons, the yucky film they leave around your mouth having blown them up. It grosses me out, and makes me gag.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

It's not work related - but mine is ....ewwww...I have to type the word....Buttons
          *shudders

It's an odd one and I have no idea where it came from or why I have it, but suffice to say I only wear tee-shirts and jumpers and never ever ever iron Snowdrops uniform shirts, or indeed, any shirts!

I think I prefer sniffing to the wiping of snot up sleeves though ~ those silvery trails make me retch
I'm afraid if a child I'm trying to work with sniffs I send them away to blow their nose before we carry on. I can't bear it either

Chatting? Never - thank goodness when I ring my mum (usually takes a couple of days to build up to it) she just rabbits on...
The arrival of email revolutionized my life, especially at work.
I also have a phobia about telephones and talking on them. I really have to psyche myself up if I need to call someone, even family - if it's a stranger it can take me a couple of weeks to get it done. I'd rather drive 30 miles to speak to someone face to face. Why? Who knows?

The sad thing is I have no idea where this feeling has come from.
Mally, it's obvious. When it comes to the crunch, you have a deep seated resentment of any worker who is celeried...
I don't know if this counts as a phobia, but I certainly have a fear of being put on an indefinite mandatory work programme that insists I am fit to work when I am sometimes unable to even walk to a bus stop, and where I am likely to be sanctioned for illness by loss of benefits for up to three years.
On the plus side, I do like working !
There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.

This affects me everywhere...stray hairs, even my own, make me shudder. I'm losing a lot of hair recently (it's stress, I'm told) so it's worse than normal.

Another thing is polyester wadding/stuffing. And I used to sew many things that were 3D and needed stuffing. Yuck. Mega yuck if it gets caught on rough skin or a finger nail. Eeeewwwwww.
