... and I realised why I find DiY so difficult: all the tools are too big for my (delicate, feminine) hands.

See now I have the exact opposite problem, my big fat fingers are so chunky that when hammering a nail in my thumb always gets in the way. These silly little hammers are so small, and the 4" nails so fiddly, its like trying to hold a tack and hit it with a..... well tack hammer!!
