This may require some brain power and a good memory but here goes. Eldest son has just gone to Uni. He text me to ask for details of his vaccinations, especially MMR and MenC. This is important as 1st year uni students are a high risk group. According to his record card and my doctors surgery he hasn't had MenC. He and I remember him having an injection at infant school when he was about 7 so 2001. I remember it too but what it was I can't remember. I even remember my own class at school going to the hall for injections. The time would fit in with the introduction of Men C vaccinations as this was part of a national catch up programme as they missed it as babies.
Any school nurses/ other teachers out there with better memories than me. If it wasn't Men C I don't know what it was.
