Its always a little confusing, when you wake up and try to work out what has changed itself, what is the actual time! lol
My phone says half 7, her phone says half 8, my pc has changed from bst to gmt and says half 6!!
When I woke up I checked my phone and watch, my phone had updated, my watch hadn't (not surprised as I hadn't done it last night ). Then I got confused when I went downstairs because the cooker and microwave showed the same time as my phone. Turned out son no2 had done them when he got up for work. The only clock left is the one in the living room, and I'm not touching it as I'd need to stand on a chair to reach. It will probably be an hour fast for several months!
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.
I completely remembered last night - but forgot this morning. Which wouldn't be so bad, but I had the alarm set for 0745...Radio 2 at that time of the morning on Sundays is not exactly kicking ass, is it ?
Kitchen clock wrong, living room clock wrong (as always), microwave clock closer to being right than it has ever been, watch sorted, computer knows best, but above all - dog's stomach clock utterly unchanged !
That extra hour fairly makes the difference though. It did a grand job of giving the snow elves time to get rid of all our snow !
There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.
Head-hunted member of the Nutter's Club - can I get my cranium back please ?
I managed to lie for the extra hour with much ease
Have to say it was nice for it to be light at 8.15 for a change ( even though I know in 1 month we'll be back to still dark at that time)
This evening should be interesting though
One thing about being an hour ahead of you lot...I find it soooo strange that by Xmas morning it's still pitch black at 9am! ( but I loooove the lighter nights in the summer)
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
The clock I always forget is the one in the car, so I'll be pootling to work tomorrow, glance across and be thrown into a panic, thinking I'm an hour late. Happens every year.
I've only just set the phone clock, car clock still waiting! I'm sure that clocks breed throughout the year......there seem to be more and more of the blighters.
