I'm sure that clocks breed throughout the year......there seem to be more and more of the blighters.
Of course they do - it's because they have so much time on their hands !

(Sorry, but I just couldn't resist...)

I've realised that I have 5, yes, that's FIVE clocks in my bedroom:

          > two alarm clocks, in case one doesn't go off (don't laugh - it has happened when the battery runs down)
          > a "bird" clock on the wall that whistles, chirrups, hoots and cuckoos at various hours, but only in daylight
          > a mantle clock that was my grandmothers pride and joy and has the most soothing tick-tock (clockwork you see, not the awful battery driven tick.....tick....tick....) and has Westminster chimes
          > a weather station repeater of the one downstairs so I know how cold it is outside without getting out of bed ( ) which also has a clock

OK yes, strictly that's 3 timepieces and 2 clocks, but still probably too many, d'you think?

          Endless wonder.

That's what I thought, too. The living room has 3 - TV, a carriage clock, and the weather station, and if you count the cooker and microwave, the kitchen has 3 as well. And I still never know what the time is, because I don't wear a wristwatch.
