Tried watching an episode the other night and didn't even smile throughout, really couldn't see what was funny but found the canned laughter very annoying. Clearly not my thing at all.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Alison the show is filmed before a studio audience, they did a whole program on how its filmed and they even alter the script if the audience don't think that scene was funny enough.

Was funny with Ma asking where the Indian boy was, the other day.

And Howard is spookily accurate when he lampoons Raj.

Blimey, didn't know that but suppose if you're not laughing at all yourself then you really notice the stuff coming out the telly and it makes it seem misplaced. Personally I prefer not to have a laughter track at all with my comedy as I find that it's like telling me what I should find funny but I know some people prefer it.

Lol - don't think I'll be giving it a second chance though, just chanced upon it and thought I'd see what all the fuss was about - didn't work it out though as it all just seemed a bit silly (not that silly is necessarily bad ) and far fetched (think I have to believe in the characters and at least like some or them rather than want to run a mile from them all). Not a problem though as there's plenty of stuff I do find funny which might well not by your guy's cup of tea.
