I was under the illusion that I would be able to plant on 100% of my plot this year - instead I have a passable recreation of the conditions on the Somme over part of it

Still - it stops me from getting bored, and you wouldn't believe the number of schemes that people have used on allotments to get rid of excess water over the years - Google is my best friend here

I now have a (new) cunning plan to get rid of the waterlogging (plan #5 if anyone is counting) - if it works I will be a very tired, but happy bunny.

If it doesn't work, anyone know where to get rice and watercress seeds from?

I decided I was definitely going to finish work early today then looked at the clock. Time to go home. Doh.

If it's anything like mine, totally drained, and getting a sinking feeling already...

There's watercress in the VSP but we seem to have had a run on rice this year - sorry
