        • Now I am not saying I like whisky but a landlord was retiring on the last night he gave me this, reckoned I'd earned it over the years.

          • just to show there is more than one string to my bow, may I recommend Balmenach, a real Speyside malt, chances are if it is the 50 year old one it was made by my dad who worked in the stillhouse at that distillery

                • I used to holiday with a friend we chose our holiday destination by whether they had a good selection of malts. Even found a place on the Somme though it were slightly expensive.
