Well, I can tell I'm getting older!

I have started to listen to Classic FM on my way to work.. I used to listen to a local radio show, but the music on it was just getting well, shy-tuh. My father used to play classic music to us when we were younger - and it's surprising how much I can recall (composers, pieces, etc). I'm actually starting to enjoy classical music now!

Couple of years ago, I'd have laughed at you if you would have suggested that fact to me!

When driving its Classic FM most of the time - until the repetitive adverts wear me down or Radio 4, especially if its Afternoon Play time - or CDs of Golden Oldies to sing along too.

Adverts? I must miss them, or haven't noticed them I listen to it very early mind. I find it's helping me not want to drive over the majority of motorway users.

Himself is my chauffeur to work and he chooses to have the local commercial radio station on in the car. Just manage to put up with it for the 15 minute journey, but it would drive me to distraction any longer. I like car journeys with conversation so wouldn't even turn it on. Rediscovering classical music doesn't mean you're getting old Chris, you're just more chilled

I absolutely rage when people play radio stations with adverts in cars. I just can't abide it. Taxis - grrrrr.

I have 6 music on in the house and car, except the new car which Mr Z hasn't installed the DAB doo da in yet - so in there it's 5 live.

The good thing about the Dab doo da is when you get fed up of radio or are in hilly places, where the signal can go - you can plug your ipod/phone in and put your own mix on. Brill.

I dont usually listen to the radio - however I did catch myself enjoying something on Radio 4 at a friends house the other day!

I'm not a radio fan, although I do love the Radio 4 comedy progs when we manage to catch them on Sundays.

I've got a hard drive stereo and my 16gb mp3 and both are full of an enormous mixture of music. I love choral music and opera, rock and older pop. The only music I cannot handle is rapping and, for some reason, Motown. Annoyingly, I know the words to a lot of Motown songs as my older sister was a big fan

I'm with Bren - if there's no football it's all good! Oh and I don't do the evangelical religious sunday spots, nor the lovey dovey sunday night bits either. I'm not much fussed on the sat night dance music stuff but now I'm not dodging roo's going to and fro to macca's for teens I'm all good.

I like a popular station, the adds get on my nerves, and some of the chat, but there's an off button for that. I do not like those talk shows that go on and on about how they wouldn't do something...whatever it is.

I likes me teenagers music mostly, and I likes me wind in me face can't hear nothing days as well

I can't abide any programme with "laughter" on. Its always so artificial. I can see this bored, po-faced person, finger on the "laughter" button and a script that says "This is a joke - press button for 5 seconds"
So comedy programmes may be very entertaining but I never listen to them.
