I've been on the slippery slope of 'older' radio for a few months now.

I used to listen to Radio 1 in the mornings but I can't abide the new bloke on there - rabbits on about rubbish! Then switched to Radio 2 (love Chris' little chats with Moira!). I like a bit of Radio 4 on the way home - good to hear what's been going on in the world. Find that radio stations that try to be 'down with kids' have rubbish news coverage (Newsbeat .... grrrr! Just cos I'm young doesn't need I can't understand words of more than 2 syllables).

My other half listens to Kiss 101 but it's a bit lively when I'm half awake on the way to work/half asleep on the way home ... zzzzzzz

Chris - how old are you if you don't mind me asking (hopefully itll make me feel better about my radio tastes!) ?

Maybe I should have said that I listen to any programme that the builder's choose I don't mind at all as I enjoy hearing them singing along and its not loud enough to be intrusive.

We all have this gene that kicks in around about the age of 37 and a half, that turns us off radio one and onto easy listening/classical so I reckon that's how old Chris is
