Do you award prizes ?

Every year I award prizes to plants in my garden under various headings -
Most spectular performance
Most unexpected performance
Most well earned space
Best newcomer - etc.
Does anyone else do this - and who wins.
The year is early, but to date the best newcomer award is going to the Pak Choi - easy, fuss free crop and eating it already. But that could change when I see what else comes along.
Most well earned space is so far going to the usual winner - this rhododendron which grows just outside my kitchen door in a cold, dark corner where not much would do so well. It flowers twice a year, now and again about September.

My best value plant is the camellia I inherited when I moved in - it's huge and spectacular. Needs pruning really - I must do something to it this year as it's getting hard to get round the side of the shed. On the lottie last year Purple Sprouting Broccoli - cropped for ages and tasted superb.

not to my plants but the stuff that gets eaten before it reaches the kitchen winns every year, rapberrys, corn and peas!
this year my prize goes to elsie duck! shes increadible!
