Terrible isn't it? I had to walk the dog home 45 mins in the torrential rain & a gale, but at least we had a warm dry house to come home to.
The radio was ranting about stooopid drivers going through flooded (closed) roads "because they can", and causing additional flooding to peoples' homes (as the vehicles push a wave of water over the pavements and into houses).All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb. -
We're in a 'low-risk' area, but there'a lots of water on the roads. Have seen it worse in past years, but I had a Landy then! Now I have to go the long way round...
