I have no idea whether I've received mine or not? A Book has arrived out of the blue. Is or isn't it?

C'mon SS, you've only got 3 days then you'll be given the sack..........

MG VC - you got a christmad present and you opened it already! i know the world is meant to end, but if it doesn't I thought we were meant to open our ss pressies on christmad day!
Of course, I get to open miine first.....because I'm speshul! I'd best sit here today and tonight with my ss present then shouldn't I? In case the world does end, because although I do like a little suspense, I don't want to come into the next world wondering..............what did I get?

In my defence, if it is my SS it didn't look like one as its from a book company - and that's not unusual here! And when opened it didn't seem to be from SS either.........
I also had an Oz wildlife calendar yesterday from friends there - but so mangled by the postal system somewhere in the world - that it needs ironing. I'll never get the creases from the koala

Put it in the dryer VC that always gets the creases out of my clothes.

Have ever tried stuffing a koala in the dryer? His claws are scagging the drum

oh rofl, I have this image of VC with her foot on the koala's tummy trying to push it in to the tumble dryer and the poor wee koala with its arms and legs spread out desperately resisting despite the 6 inch stilettoes

I've been asked by him upstairs [the big lump] to report back to you - yes you VC - that the book was indeed your SS pressie.

So please can you re-wrap it and put it back under the tree.

If you don't, I'm gonna get kicked from here till 2014 and quite frankly, I don't think that's actually fair.

                        So there.

I'll be back in a day or two, once the old fart is strapped into his sleigh - gawd only knows how we are going to do that after the mince pies and bottles of ale that he was still pigging out on all summer.

                        Thanks in advance.
