Don't know - I use firefox and have no problems, in fact it's the only browser I've found that keeps me logged in even if I close the GYO tab, as long as I don't turn off the power.
Sorry can't help, didn't like Firefox when I tried it as nothing seemed to be where it should be. I use Chrome at home with no problems, how come you changed? Re having to log in, I stay permanently connected so that whenever I turn on I don't have to put my password in.

I think BM picked up a Trojan something on Chrome so switched over to Firefox.
Yep, that's the reason I changed. I'm able to stay logged in today. Maybe my old PC is showing it's age.....I'm away to read my cookie problem now but thanks for your help.

I just got kicked off the vine again & redirected to some aplogy site..hey ho. So now I have fallen out with Chrome & Firefox, I'm giving IE another go although I don't like it. May have a look at Opera as I have not heard of that one..........any more browsers you can recommend?

I use Chr0me, mainly, but also Firef0x occasionally (two separate eBay accounts) and I use Safari for Hubby's business stuff. Not really got any problems with any of them. Sorry. I really do need to update my OS though, but I can't be arrised at the moment.

I occasionally use Avant - it's very fast, I should play about with it more, but tend just to click firefox automatically. Menu/tool bars etc look different and take a bit of getting used to, but that's just unfamiliarity, if I used it more it would be easy.
edit - it's also a small download to install - under 2Mb I believe.

Thanks MH, I'll keep my eye on that one. I have just downloaded Opera & 1st impressions are good, may take a little getting used to but a) I'm still logged into the vine & b) My cookie control doesn't flash so it's a win win situation so far. With regards to other comments, I already have Malwarebytes, CrapCleaner & Advanced System Optimizer installed.
