  • War of the roses?

    Hi folks
I just came across this, haven't fully read it yet, but wonder what others might think?

yeah, sounds intresting for the first couple of paragraghs but its a bit dull, personally, not having a telly or being remotley intrested in "fame"
dont really understand what they are on about.
if i want plant advice i go to an lady in her 60's called borris (shes very "progressive") if its chook advice i go to old albert, but to be honest i know more good female gardeners than men, thats proberbly because i know more females into gardening than i know men into gardens, not because females are better than men,
women can wield a chain saw as well as any man, but lets be honest men want to wield a saw more than women, so girls just say, can you do this for me and blokes will oblje 'cos of the power tool thing.
women tend to be more motivated, but if a fella is having a hard time at home he will be motivated too.
who cares which sex is "better" as long as we all continue to learn and enjoy whats the fuss?
    Yo an' Bob
    Walk lightly on the earth
    take only what you need
    give all you can
and your produce will be bountifull

My Mrs won;t garden, it's as much as I can do to get her to sit in it on a nice day.
Always thank people who have helped you immediately, as they may not be around to thank later.

As long as we are all enjoying ourselves, whether male or female I dont care! Being a newbie I will ask advice from anyone - as I wander around our site, if I see something I dont know what it is, I will ask!

Personally I see a difference in me and BW:

          I like to plant and nurture things and experiment; I like a bit of a wilderness and non-conformity;
he wants orderly rows all standing to attention when he walks by, and neat and tidy ....
Well, perhaps not quite, but last year he did go around weeding out all the things I's planted!!

Well, MB I think that's male v female gardening you and BW have there. My neighbour is a straight lines and neatness man. I like something the wildlife will feel at home in!
