Good quiz VC. I got them all except No 1 (I said politics - that's a sport, isn't it?), and No 8 - lettuce would never have occured to me as I loathe the stuff. And I only got dwell, not dwarf or dwindle. (I did get dweomer though, does that count?)
    Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
    Endless wonder.

My bro, who's a good ten years my senior, used to come home on leave clutching the Puzzler monthly. He really hated it when I, a precocious 11 year old, would swipe it off him and fill in all the bits he couldn't do. I often wondered how long it would take him to figure out that the answers were in the back.....Even now, one of my little pleasures, when we're up that way, is to beat him to the pub quiz sheet and answer all of the questions before he gets it. Watching a 58 yr old having a paddy is quite amusing....

......but it did foster my love of quizzes and puzzles to this day!
