Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!

One bit of old folklore wisdom says to plant tomatoes when the soil is warm enough to sit on with bare buttocks. In surburban areas, use the back of your wrist. Jackie French

I keep so much seed from year to year, I have no idea what some of the varieties are. My runner beans for example are quite old, they are the same variety my grandfather grew so I have no idea what they are. I like them though.

Peas, early onward, I can't wait for the first batch, the sooner the better.

      Tomato, sungold.

Potato desiree a good all rounder spud.

Purple sprouting, natures first harvest, delish.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Im still with Jack be little squash, and re toms I really love sungold but would prefer it if it wasn't an F1, so I think I may go with principe borghese cos I love the heart teardrop shape and flavor, or tigrella as it has a good balance of sweet and sharpness.

Still need to think on a lettuce and a green......

I would add fruit bushes and the like but Ive never really grown a named variety as they have all been cuttings or from cheap shops! I'm just determined to avoid the fiasco of the strawberry spinach episode! The kids faces in the group when they tasted a strawberry looking fruit that tasted like a brassica! It self seeded every where too and was very prolific, I should have saved it for a seed circle really but didn't want to inflict it on anyone!!
