well my mum took ill she has been ill for a while but she had a real funny turn, callapsed and smashed her face up teeth ended up coming through her lip so she was in hospital back home so shot off down there for a few days and ended up down there for a week and a half come home to find the day ealier my dad had been put in hospital as he is losing alot of weight fast so was put on a drip and tube fed him so ended up staying there for a while (two different places as there seperated)
just when my mum and my dad are looking well enough to have a good christmas i end up going to hospital and having my ankle drained first thoughts were an infection turns out is was gout i mean come on i dont eat that badly and im only 31 grrrrrrrrrr so was told it could be down to the acid build up from my ops at the end of the summer!
Hoping your festive season is a good one and next year makes up for all your troubles.
cheers pal at least the wife has sorted out the whole of christmas with the kids stuff and food etc hopefully i can get in the mood of it now without all that stress

Here's to 2013 being a good year.....gout is not necessarily a sign of a bad diet. Many foods deemed good for you bring it on.....oily fish, asparagus!!
It just means your body is not good at breaking down uric acid.......painful though. I feel for you.
