Sorry to hear of your troubles...
In terms of Christmas, think of it as only starting tomorrow (it's early enough to start!!) and do something really relaxing at home with the family......like maybe a family Christmas movie night with sweets and popcorn etc...
And (gout aside) have a nice relaxing drink of your favourite tipple with herself afterwards...might help!I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

My father used to suffer with gout in his toes, but it just stopped. Possibly because he was taking niacin for his cholesterol but they took him off that when he had his double bypass.Jules

Hope that the next year is good to you. There are times in life when things just can't seem to go right no matter what you do! And others when they just go right.
Guess it's a good thing you have the Mrs to keep the other things on track as well. I have to do that stuff myself or it doesn't happen.

So sorry you've had a carp time of it a lately pal, hope both your Mum & Dad are on the mend, nice to hear you are back on your feet although gout is sh1t, hope you can get it sorted. I see you're amazing missus came to the rescue again. Happy 2013 mate & fingers crossed for a good one although the way your luck is going you may want to keep them in your pocket.......
