Hi Shirley, I am so sorry to have read of Gemini.
Don't just think of name related plants, think of the times you have had, think of a plant that would reflect the character of Gemini! Did Gemini put his head down to eat grass when out riding...maybe a nice colourful grass....did he like apples....an apple tree, mints? a feed bucket of mint....that sort of thing.
My love and kind thoughts go out to you.

Sorry about your loss Shirl. Here on the Island, there is a cemetary (for people) where trees are planted in memoriam, which I think is wonderful. How about a tree for Gemini?

Oh Shirl, so sad to hear about your boy. I've experienced the loss of two of my horses over the years, but the horses I have now are both 'teenagers' so I suppose I have to prepare for that time again one of these days.

It sounds as though you and Gemini had a great time together though, and many happy memories. I don't have any plants called Gemini to suggest, but when my favourite mare died (6th May 1996) I planted some forget me nots in her memory and pressed some to decorate an album of photos of her which I'd amassed over the years. Needless to say the forget me nots have now completely taken over the garden, but I don't mind; I think they look lovely and they always remind me of her.
