It gets better...Pa has booked dinner on the Vrijthof. We can eat, drink and listen to the concert. I've seen this on the tv and it looks like a proper party, or a bierfest, lots of long tables stretching out under the trees. He's booked the last Maastricht concert of the year, on 14th, so it should be utterly fab!!!!

I am never going to make to July without bursting!!

Thanks Becki....this trip is next year's birthday gift though. I've never, ever, had anything remotely like this for my birthday before. I feel very lucky.

I've been looking at Maastricht on t'internet, I can't see anything that rings any bells but actually being there might stir my memories. I hope so, anyway. The BH has been updating the satnag - probably need to do it again in July and checking out international breakdown stuff.
